Manufacturing Engineer

They are transitioning from bespoke, engineered-to-order systems into high-volume production. With this transformation underway, they are strengthening their engineering capability and seeking a Manufacturing Engineer who can bring structure, innovation and high-volume manufacturing expertise.The opportunityAs Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping a rapidly evolving production environment. Responsibilities include:Driving lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, VSM, 5S, time studies and workflow optimisationDesigning and implementing fixtures, tooling and efficient production layoutsSupporting DFM/DFA activities and working closely with design and production teamsCreating and maintaining SOPs, work instructions and training documentationContributing to cost-reduction projects and process standardisation as production volume scalesOccasional involvement in supply chain and logistics improvementThis is an exciting opportunity to influence how a high-growth manufacturing operation is built for the future.About youWe''re keen to speak with candidates who can bring:Experience within high-volume manufacturing such as electronics, automotive or assemblyStrong understanding of lean tools and structured process improvementAbility to visualise, develop and communicate clear production processesConfidence working ..... full job details .....
