Contract Details:Duration: 3 yearsIR35: InsideClearance: SC or DV requiredDay Rate: £600–£800 (depending on experience)Role Purpose:You will work with a specialist team to embed trust, safety, and responsibility in AI adoption, ensuring AI systems meet strict ethical, technical, and regulatory standards through robust assurance frameworks and risk assessments.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement AI risk management and assurance frameworksConduct technical evaluations and TEVV activities for AI/ML solutionsAdvise on model explainability, bias detection, robustness, and resilience testingGuide project teams and suppliers in embedding assurance into AI/ML Ops lifecycleAct as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on AI governance and riskRequired Experience:Expertise in AI assurance, risk management, or AI safety frameworksHands-on experience with AI tools and operational pipelinesKnowledge of regulatory and ethical requirements in Defence or other high-stakes industriesExperience integrating assurance into ML Ops pipelinesDegree or equivalent in AI/ML, data science, or related fieldProven client-side leadership in regulated environmentsDesirable:Familiarity with generative AI safety challengesPublications or thought leadership in AI assurancePrior Defence or secure environment experienceCore Competencies:Detail-oriented and analyticalEthical leadership and integrityClear communication across technical and non-technical audiencesMorela is proud to support our client in this critical AI assurance programme.
