CK Group are recruiting for a Microbiology Laboratory Technician to join a leading global food brand company on a contract basis initially for 6 months with the potential to be made permanent.Salary:£13.30 per hour PAYEMicrobiology Laboratory Technician Role:Will provide hands-on assistance to support the operation and goals of the laboratory by supporting experiments and projects under technical guidance.Will support a range of analyses, prepare and maintain standard equipment and chemicals required for running of an analytical laboratory.Ensure compliance to the appropriate internal and external standards, and capture and report data with technical rigor and accuracy.Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment and be proficient in generic and specific software packages.Perform lab admin and housekeeping duties as directed.Your Background:A Life Science/ Microbiology degree or equivalent, or A-levels in relevant subjects.Previous experience working in a GLP environment would be beneficial.
