The Role:

Reporting into the Production Lead, you will be accurately machining components and sub assemblies to tolerances and recognised standards
Operating CNC and manual machines including; lathes, millers
Practical Metrology of machines components both in metric and imperial
Metal working - marking out, cutting, folding, sheet metal and plate bending rolls, drilling etc

Suitable Candidate:

Experienced Machinist / Mechanical Fitter
Previous experience of using both manual and CNC lathes and millers
Able to read and understand technical drawings
Work alone and within a team environment
Mentor lower level team members
Build close relationships internally
Fast learner and willing to learn new ways of working and methodologies
Ability to plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of work
