This includes advising on complex trust structures, inheritance tax planning, and succession strategies, providing tailored solutions for high-net-worth individuals, families, and trustees. Your leadership will ensure excellence across compliance and advisory projects.Joining us means your insights will shape our private client tax services, making a difference to clients while advancing your career in an environment that values your contributions and development.What you''ll be doing day to dayEnsure compliance with legislative and ethical standards within the Trust teamResolve client issues efficiently, meeting timescales and budgetsLead and develop a team of advisorsLiaise with trustees, beneficiaries, individuals, and intermediaries to provide excellent serviceAct as principal on a portfolio of trust and high-net-worth clients, reviewing and signing off adviceReview and advise on trust accountsParticipate in marketing and business development for trust servicesSupport team growth and expansion of the trust businessUpskill colleagues in other departments to manage risk and identify opportunitiesMeet with clients to assess and advise on tax planning, overseeing team deliveryCollaborate with Private Client tax partners to identify opportunities and risksPromote firm-wide services, especially financial planningEnsure effective work allocation and achievement of departmental targetsAssist in managing the trust corporationAbout youPrevious experience in a similar roleATT or CTA qualified (or equivalent) with current technical knowledge (STEP qualification is desirable)Ability to lead and inspire a team of advisorsHighly motivated with excellent client engagement skills, particularly with high-net-worth individualsOrganised, with effective time management skills to meet deadlinesCreative problem solver with a strong drive to succeed
