Architectural Technician

Location: Southampton

Salary: -28-35,000

A progressive and design-led architectural practice is looking to recruit an Architectural Technician to join their team in Southampton. The studio has an established reputation for delivering projects with major national house builders and continues to secure a strong pipeline of residential schemes. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of an expanding and motivated team focused on delivering high-quality housing developments.

The role of Architectural Technician will involve:

* Preparing precise and comprehensive technical drawings for large-scale residential schemes
* Working closely with architects, planners, consultants and clients to meet both design intent and regulatory requirements
* Ensuring projects adhere to UK Building Regulations and NHBC Standards
* Supporting and mentoring junior members of the technical team
* Attending and contributing to meetings with clients and wider project teams

The successful Architectural Technician will have:

* A degree or HNC/HND in Architectural Technology or a related discipline
* Proven experience working with national house builders in the UK
* Strong technical expertise with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
* Sound knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction standards
* The ability to manage workload across multiple projects independently
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
