This role is ideal for someone with experience in a machine operating environment and considers themselves to be punctual, reliable and proactive. Location: DS Smith Packaging, Mill Road, Devizes, Wiltshire, SN10 3EWRate: 14.47ph (increased to 14.99ph after 12 weeks)Overtime available OT 1.5 Weekdays: 21.71 per hour OT 1 32ph (Sat AM) OT 2.0 28.94ph (Sat PM and Sun)Shifts: 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00 and 22:00-06:00 on a rotationThe successful applicant must be able to do all of these shifts Contract length: 3 months initially with the view to extend to 6 months Start: ASAP (within 1-2 weeks) Responsibilities:Safely operating machinery to create packaging product for DS Smith''s clienteleEnsuring efficiency is maximised and downtime is minimised Working to and achievement productivity and performance targets as set by management Ensuring consistent and quality standards are met at all timesMaintaining and cleaning in line with the planned maintenance schedule Labelling product and stacking this on pallets Scanning product and maintaining an efficient inventory Working in line with a safe systems of work (SSOW)Adhering to UK Health and Safety legislation at all times Essential requirements:Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment Strong ..... full job details .....
