Plant Engineer / Fitter Location: Predominately based at our premises in Thornton Heath, CR7 8LH, Greater London, with some site visits as and when required. Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 (Negotiable based on skills and experience) Contract: Full time, permanent, Monday Friday. Plant Engineer / Fitter - Job Responsibilities: • Inspect, service, repair, and maintain a variety of diesel and petrol-powered plant, including our fleet of over 30 excavators ranging from 1-tonne micro machines to 8-tonne models. • Work both on-site and at our Croydon premises. • Use our ''InspHire'' hire software to manage equipment service records, record repairs, and order spare parts. • Collaborate with management, fitters, and yard staff to prioritize plant processing and meet customer requirements. • Perform manual lifting as required.
