OverviewOur client is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Operator to join their precision manufacturing company, based in Willenhall. This is a permanent opportunity offering excellent pay, overtime, and generous holiday entitlement. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating a range of CNC machinery to deliver high-quality components to exacting standards.

Responsibilities

Program, set, and operate CNC machines (primarily 5-axis) using Hypermill (preferred) or Powermill CAM software.

Work across a variety of CNC machinery, including:

3 x 5-axis Matsuura machines (Fanum controllers).

3 x Mazak machines (Mazatrol controllers).

4 x Bridgeport machines (Heidenhain controllers).

1 x CMS machine (proprietary controller).

Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to produce accurate, high-quality components.

Ensure efficient machining processes, maintaining tight tolerances and surface finishes.

Carry out machine maintenance, tool setting, and troubleshooting.

Maintain high standards of housekeeping and adhere to health and safety policies at all times.

Skills and Experience

Proven CNC programming and operating experience (5-axis preferred).

Hypermill CAM experience highly desirable, although Powermill will be considered.

Strong knowledge of Fanum, Mazatrol, Heidenhain, or equivalent controllers.

Ability to work independently and as part of a small, skilled team.

Excellent attention to detail and quality focus.

Additional Information

Hours: 37 hours per week

Monday – Thursday, 07:30 – 16:30

Friday, 07:30 – 12:30

Pay: Subject to experience of candidate

Overtime available at time and one-third rate

Holidays: 37 days including Bank Holidays
