The Operations PMO was created in June 2021 and is responsible for maximising BDOs change investment; helping deliver Change in the most effective and efficient way; track, record and report on expectation, help build change delivery capability across the firm; and bring in teams to help the firm deliver.We’ll help you succeed

You’ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to organisations we work with. We are able to consider applications for both a permanent role or 12 month fixed term contract. We are looking for an experienced programme manager to develop and manage the Advisory stream’s transformation programme.In this role you’ll:Understand the inflight and upcoming changes in key business area(s)Day to day management of the programme activitiesBe the voice of business into the programmePlan and design ‘outcome focused’ activities, monitoring progress against agreed parameters, identifying key risks, resolving issues and initiating timely corrective action.Ensure the programme has the correct governance (including ''hooking'' into portfolio governance)Ensure underlying projects are coordinatedResolve risks and issuesSupport individuals on the programmeEnsure programme integrity and coherenceMonitor programme''s budget, monitoring expenditure etc.Help appoint additional staff into the programme and underlying projects / activitiesLiaise with design authority / architecture teams / other IT teams / risk / dependent projects and product teams / suppliersEnsure outputs meet requirements within time, quality, cost constraints (and timely escalation of risks if not)Ensure efficiency of resourcesLiaise with 3rd parties / drafting work packages as requiredIdentify and initiate additional activities wherever gaps existDeveloping and embedding ‘right-sized’ change delivery and governance (aligned to portfolio governance) to suit the project and stakeholder needsIdentify, monitor and develop appropriate remedial plans for key project/programme performance (KPIs) and risk (KRIs) metricsRegular reporting to your sponsor and other governance forumsYou’ll be someone with
Extensive experience of change delivery approaches (e.g. Waterfall, Agile)Excellent stakeholder management skillsOKR/Benefits tracking experienceAn understanding the content of current and emerging portfolio of change and how it adds valueAn understanding the corporate vision and strategy and the wider industryCorporate processes and procedures (e.g. Governance, Finance, HR, minimum standards) and associated language / culture experienceExperience of Workday HCM, Workday Finance or MSD CMS an advantageExperience of a professional services environment an advantageService management concepts and frameworks experience is an advantage (e.g. ITIL)You’ll be able to be yourself; we’ll recognise and value you for who you are and celebrate and reward your contributions to the business.
