Support Worker / National Supported Living Organisation

Daytime Healthcare are assisting a national supported living provider to find a Support Worker to join the team in Tadley.
We’re looking for Support Workers to support female and male adults with complex health needs and various learning disabilities, who will want to enjoy a building an active live in their home and their local community.
The ideal person to support them will have, or share, an interest in their hobbies, be able to adapt their communication skills e.g. clear pronunciation of words, slowing down on in their speech where needed, uses correct words to describe items and situations.
Skills:
- A compassionate, empathic and patient approach, with a genuine interest in supporting vulnerable individuals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trusting relationships
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team fostering positive working relationships
Experience:
Experience in social care is not essential, we provide a full range of accredited and award winning training programmes at no cost to yourself, including the Health and Social Care Diploma that will really support your career progression.
- FULL UK Manuel Driving license is essential, and essential to have held that for minimum of 2 years to then be able to and willing to also drive our Manuel service vehicle.
- We do not offer VISA Sponsorship with this role.
