Site Engineer

You will be a key member of our site team, responsible for the technical and quality control of civil engineering works. Your role will involve:
Setting out and conducting surveys to ensure all work is carried out to the highest level of accuracy, in line with engineering drawings and project specifications.
Managing and supervising subcontractors and direct labour, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.
Inspecting and auditing work on-site, implementing quality assurance procedures, and preparing comprehensive daily reports.
Acting as the primary point of contact for technical queries on site, collaborating closely with the design team and other stakeholders.
Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and promoting our "safety first" culture.
Maintaining detailed records of all site activities, including progress, materials, and resources.
What We''re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
A degree or HND in Civil Engineering.
A minimum of 3 experience as a Site Engineer on significant civil engineering projects, specifically with a focus on highways, road construction, or related infrastructure.
Proficiency in setting out using total stations and GPS equipment.
A solid understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and health and safety legislation.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders effectively.
CSCS card and other relevant certifications.
