Customer and Trading Manager - Nightshift

Responsibilities
Leading a team overnight to deliver all replenishment activities across the store while getting involved to prioritise deliveries, organise the warehouse and replenish shelves.
Often you will run a full store operation on your own overnight, being responsible for the full shift and the safety and wellbeing of colleagues in store.
Ensure standards are brilliant by morning so the store is ready to serve customers.
People management is a key part of the role, including managing performance and capability, conducting disciplinaries and ensuring scheduling and pay are accurate.
Comfortable with night-shift working and adaptable to the physical and mental impact of these patterns, with a focus on providing a safe and healthy environment for the team.
Previous line management responsibilities in a fast-paced, operational environment.
Resilient in dealing with the mental and physical demands of working nights.
Provide brilliant customer service and coach a team to do the same.
Experience delivering and monitoring KPIs or other performance indicators.
Can manage disciplinaries, performance issues or other employee relations matters.
Lead operations and be comfortable operating alone in the absence of more senior management.
Put inclusivity at the heart of everything you do, with a track record of delivering excellent customer service and coaching colleagues accordingly.
Experience leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment, motivating others, driving performance, and keeping operations running smoothly.
Operational leadership skills, taking responsibility for store operations in the absence of more senior managers.
Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding KPIs (e.g., sales, availability, customer satisfaction, colleague engagement).
Experience managing employee relations issues, including performance and absence management.
Desirable: experience working night shifts in a high-volume, operational environment and creating a safe, supportive atmosphere for the team during out-of-hours trading.

Nightshift compensation: full-time hours over 4 nights with a £4,500 premium on top of base salary; typical hours 22:00–08:00.
