Procurement Manager role at

National Theatre . The procurement function is being established, with an initial focus on Estates and Capital Projects. The role will help develop an industry-leading commercial function and ensure the organisation can deliver great theatre into the future. The successful candidate will deliver procurement activities across the NT and, with the Head of Procurement, help develop policy, process and procedures, and build strong relationships across the NT to embed the function.Our approach to procurement is dynamic, pragmatic, fleet of foot and collaborative, with the aim of delivering the National Theatre’s core mission: creating world-class theatre that entertains and inspires.Responsibilities

Deliver procurement activities across the National Theatre, with initial focus on Estates and Capital ProjectsWork with the Head of Procurement to develop policy, process and proceduresBuild strong relationships across the NT to ensure the new function is embeddedContribute to a dynamic, pragmatic procurement approach that aligns with the organisation’s cultureQualifications

CIPS qualified/part qualified or equivalentExperience supporting the design of effective procurement policies and processes that fit with the culture of the organisationUnderstanding of contract law and ability to draft or amend standard termsExperience in negotiationExcellent stakeholder management experienceAdditional information
