A leading global asset manager is currently recruiting for a Portfolio Analyst to join their team based in London. This role sits within the Front Office working alongside the Portfolio Managers providing attribution and ad-hoc analysis across fixed income and multi-asset strategies.Key responsibilities:Perform investment attribution and ad-hoc analysis for fixed income and multi-asset strategiesBuild and enhance key analytical tools and attribution models using Python, VBA and SQLActively contribute in regular meetings with Portfolio Managers providing insightful analytical outputServe as a subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholdersKeep up to date with market changes and investment industryThe successful candidate will have:3-5 years’ experience in an analytical/quantitative role at an asset manager, investment bank or consultancyWorking knowledge of fixed income instrumentsExcellent academic record; STEM subjects highly desirableProgramming experience in PythonExperience working with VBA and SQL is desirableProactive and effective approachMason Blake acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
