Role Title: Business Unit Manager

Salary: Attractive salary plus car and benefitsLocation: North London/HertfordshireAre you an exceptional Senior Manager looking to join a high-growth, ambitious, privately owned construction business?We are looking for someone who will lead and drive the measured term contracts and major frameworks division. You will report to the Commercial Director and have responsibility for efficiently running all administrative, operational and field activities whilst providing a first-class service consistently, growing existing accounts and winning new business.Responsibilities include:Overseeing and leading the day-to-day functions and performance of the division, including regularly meeting with the Directors to review the division’s performance, management and complianceWorking with the business development team to increase division turnover by identifying new opportunities with existing and new clientsPlanning the skill requirements for projects, collaborating with the Directors to recruit and select quality employeesManaging, monitoring and motivating employees within the divisionEnsuring client satisfaction in terms of cost, scope and timescalesProactively monitoring Health and Safety within the division to ensure processes, team culture and behaviours are in line with company expectationsParticipating in monthly reporting processes, identifying and addressing any potential issues and ensuring that external client reporting is accurate and appropriateManaging design and build development scheme and ensuring suitable control processes on projectsReviewing of technical drawings to ensure compliance with employer requirements, regulations and business strategy. Ensuring suitability and buildability of designs to maximise programme delivery and profit margins while maintaining client expectationsEnsuring the work is completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality by effectively organising and managing the site activitiesCandidate requirements:Previous Senior Management experience within a mid-sized SMEProven track record in successfully managing projectsStrong understanding and usage of Microsoft Projects / Astra ProjectsAbility to communicate professionally with clients and stakeholdersSelf-motivated and ambitious with aspirations to progress through the businessStrong focus on KPI delivery, risk management as well as commercial and financial competenceHighly organised and able to manage tight timescalesCSCS Card and Asbestos Awareness#J-18808-Ljbffr
