Some of the key responsibilities include: Helping support the organisations communications and engagement strategies particularly with media relations. Working very closely with research teams, partners, strategy and overall improvement division. Ensuring media enquiries are promptly actioned and issues are managed sensitively. Leading on scoping, messaging and core content with colleagues in communications and research functions. Managing a programme of proactive media coverage to support the organisations objectives and priorities Providing senior communications and engagement advice to key executives, stakeholders and relevant project teams. Supporting a website project launch coordinating key relationships across the organisation ensuring information is collated in a timely manager and teams are brought together sensibly. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas: Worked within a science, health or research led environment Proven track record of senior media relations and producing communications engagement strategies.
