Air Conditioning Engineer London & Home Counties  


Key Details:

• Salary: £45,000 - £47,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
• Contract : 40 hour week plus lunch ( 8-5pm)
• Travel : After 30mins either side
• Holiday: 21 days  plus bank holidays
• On call - 1 in 4 - Overtime payment 1.5 rate. Double time Friday and Saturday nights. 3 hrs @ 1.5 for each call out + £30.00 OOH''s call out completion bonus.

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Air Conditioning Engineer to join our company based in the South East. We currently employ over 150 engineers in the South East alone across the Mechanical & Electrical sector including commercial gas and air conditioning.
 
The role involves carrying out planned and reactive maintenance work on a wide range of air conditioning systems across various commercial premises which mainly include Leisure Centres & Retailers
 
Role Responsibilities - Air Conditioning Engineer

• Carry out fault-finding and repairs on VRVS, VRFS and Splits
• Conduct planned preventive maintenance (PPM)
• Complete safety inspections in line with current regulations and compliance standards.
• Maintain clear and accurate job records and reports using company systems and documentation.
• Work independently and as part of a team to manage your daily workload, attending scheduled appointments across the region.
• Participate in a 1-in-4 on-call rota, attending emergency call-outs and ensuring high standards of customer service during out-of-hours visits.
• Communicate effectively with clients and site representatives, providing updates and explanations where necessary.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety procedures, site rules, and company protocols at all times.
• Maintain van stock and tools to required levels and report any shortages or equipment issues promptly.
• Represent the company professionally at all times, upholding quality and safety standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• FGAS certification
• NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
• Full UK driving licence
