SEMH Teaching Assistant to Support with READINGThere are 40 students aged 10 - 16 in the school with high staffing ratios. They do lessons each morning for core subjects and then do a wide range of individual and team building activities in the afternoons.The key aspect of the role is very much the supporting of Teaching and Learning with the role that she is looking to fill being a Teaching Assistant to support the qualified Teacher during Reading lessons. This is coupled with an understanding of Social and Emotional Mental Health.Lunch is provided and eaten with the children so therefore, you are paid for the full 8 hours a day, Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm.Core Duties and Responsibilities from Job Description: To be a safe adult and take the business of education seriously Be a highly visible, consistent and supportive presence in and around the school; support the staff and students, ensuring high quality education and care.
