This is a key, hands-on finance leadership role supporting site performance, strengthening financial control, and partnering closely with operational stakeholders in a fast-paced plant environment. Location: Redditch Position: Assistant Financial Controller Full-Time Permanent Salary: £70,000 to £80,000 per annum Key responsibilities of the Assistant Financial Controller: Support the Financial Controller with the day-to-day financial management of the manufacturing site. Lead month-end close processes, ensuring timely, accurate and compliant reporting. Prepare and review management accounts, forecasts and budgets for the site. Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements. Partner with operations and plant leadership to drive cost control, productivity and performance improvement. Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and ensure integrity of financial data. Support audits and act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Provide leadership, coaching and development to junior finance team members.
