Onsite Luton HQ (Bedfordshire)We are seeking self-motivated and experienced Electronics and Hardware Design Engineers with a strong emphasis on hardware development and a solid foundation in embedded systems software. The successful candidate will enjoy solving complex engineering challenges and delivering high-quality, reliable electronic solutions. You’ll work on a variety of dynamic projects and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the business.Key Qualifications

Degree (or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering or a related disciplineProven experience in hardware design from concept through to productionStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesBroad knowledge of electronic systems and technologiesSkilled in producing high-quality technical documentation and reportsProfessional communication skills, both written and verbalAdaptable to a range of project types and customer expectationsFull UK driving licence (occasional site visits required)Mixed analogue and digital circuit design with microcontrollersSchematic capture (preferably using Altium Designer)Methodical and structured design approachExperience with FMEA and design validation processesStrong documentation and technical writing skillsProject planning and time management capabilitiesKnowledge of compliance, testing, and product approval processesSwitched-Mode Power Supply (SMPS) designExperience with 8, 16, 32, and 64-bit microprocessorsUnderstanding of EMC design considerationsEmbedded programming experience or strong awarenessFamiliarity with version control toolsKnowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, RS485, USB, and diagnostic systemsSeniority level
