This position offers a unique opportunity to not only support existing network operations but also to design and manage a cutting-edge network infrastructure.Day-to-day of the role:Provide ongoing support for our current network operations, including troubleshooting, port re-configuration, managing warranty incidents, and software upgrades.Serve as a technical point of contact for external suppliers, ensuring that network-related activities are delivered cost-effectively and on time.Utilize network management systems software and tools to collect data, model performance, and generate improvement proposals.Assist in the resolution of network incidents and major security issues.Collaborate closely with the IT Security function to support network security certification and ensure secure network operations.Engage in project-related work, supporting future defence sector network projects and the delivery of network and security projects.Required Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience in a networking and/or security role.Willingness and ability to undergo government security clearance.CCNA or equivalent vendor ..... full job details .....
