Overview

Finatal is partnering with a PE-backed SaaS business generating c.£100m in revenue and scaling rapidly through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions. The company is at a pivotal stage, with increasing complexity across operations, international markets, and investor reporting. They are seeking a technically strong yet commercially minded Financial Controller to lead the day-to-day finance function and play a key role in shaping the business for continued growth.Responsibilities

Own all financial reporting, including month-end, year-end, and statutory accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Manage and develop a high-performing finance team across transactional and management reporting functions.Oversee tax, audit, and compliance, acting as the main point of contact for external advisors.Implement and strengthen financial controls, systems, and processes to support scalability.Partner with the CFO to prepare board packs, investor reports, and strategic analysis.Support MandA due diligence, integration, and post-acquisition finance structure.Deliver insightful, forward-looking management information to drive decision-making across the business.Requirements

ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent, with strong technical accounting expertise.Experience in SaaS, subscription, or technology-led business models.Background in private equity-backed or high-growth environments.Proven leadership and team management skills.Systems savvy, with the ability to streamline processes and drive automation.Strong commercial acumen, able to translate financial data into strategic recommendations.
