Database AdministratorManchester Hybrid working Salary up to £49,000 Exalto Consulting is supporting the search for a Database Administrator to join a well established IT and digital function responsible for supporting a complex, business critical systems environment. This role is suited to someone with solid hands on experience across SQL Server and Azure database technologies who is comfortable working in a live support setting. While the wider environment includes Oracle, the main priority for this hire is strong SQL and Azure capability. The team is open on level of experience. They are more interested in practical technical ability than total years in post, so this could suit someone earlier in their career who has already built strong SQL and Azure database experience in a production environment. The role You will help support the performance, stability, security and ongoing maintenance of key database systems. The work is operational and hands on, with a focus on keeping services reliable, resolving issues effectively, and contributing to continuous improvement across the database estate. You will work with internal teams and third party partners to ensure database services are well managed, well maintained, and able to support the needs of the wider organisation.
