OverviewResidential Conveyancer role at Clowes and Co. Solicitors. We are a well-established law firm with a growing Residential Property team. You will join to assist clients with the purchase and sale of residential properties, provide expert legal advice, and ensure smooth transactions from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

Managing a caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and leasehold transactions.

Providing clear and professional legal advice to clients, ensuring they are informed at every stage of the process.

Conducting legal research, preparing and reviewing contracts, and liaising with clients, estate agents, and other professionals.

Reviewing title deeds, searches, and mortgage documentation, and advising clients on potential risks or issues.

Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and procedures to ensure smooth and timely transactions.

Managing client expectations and delivering excellent customer service throughout the process.

Maintaining accurate records of all transactions and ensuring all documentation is completed correctly.

Key Skills and Experience

Qualified Solicitor, or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 2 years experience in residential conveyancing.

Strong knowledge of property law, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and leasehold transactions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and understandable way.

Ability to manage a busy caseload and meet deadlines while providing excellent client care.

Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

A team player who is also able to work independently and take initiative.
