HGV Technician Mill Hill, London £50,000 - £52,000 per annum An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced HGV Technician to join a growing workshop team following continued fleet expansion. Working on a modern and well-maintained fleet, you will be responsible for carrying out inspections, servicing, maintenance and repairs to ensure vehicles remain compliant, safe and operational at all times. Working Hours Monday to Friday 45 hours per week 9-hour day with a 1-hour paid break Optional Saturday overtime available The Role As an HGV Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining fleet reliability and vehicle uptime, working within a busy but supportive workshop environment. Key duties include: Carrying out Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMIs). Preparing vehicles for MOT and DVSA inspections. Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults. Completing servicing, maintenance and repair work in line with manufacturer schedules. Rectifying defects identified during vehicle inspections and daily checks. Completing all workshop and compliance documentation accurately. Maintaining workshop tools and equipment to a safe working standard. Assisting with breakdowns and roadside repairs when required. Carrying out repairs and maintenance on company plant and equipment. Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations.
