Astute''s Power Team is partnering with a leading provider of Compressed Air solutions to recruit a Sales Engineer for its UK-sales team.

The strategically important Sales Engineer role comes with a competitive salary of up to -45,000, pension, overtime opportunities, and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Reporting to the National Sales Engineer you will:

• Propose technical solutions tailored to customer requirements across compressed air solutions
• Work closely with the tender team to produce quotations and technical documentation
• Provide technical support to customers and the UK sales team on large-scale projects.
• Assist the sales team with technical estimates for quotations.
• Attend customer sites for training, product updates, project meetings, commissioning, and handover
• Identify and report additional work opportunities during site visits.
• Represent the business at pre- and post-tender meetings

We are looking for someone with the following:

• Degree or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent)
• Experience in technical sales or applications within electrical engineering
• Knowledge of switchgear, metering, or critical power systems (desirable)
• Commissioning and switchgear experience (desirable).

The Sales Engineer role would suit someone who is:

• Technically strong with the ability to translate solutions into customer value
• Commercially aware with a proactive approach to business development
• Confident presenting and engaging with customers at all levels
• Highly organised with strong time management skills.
• A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills

• Monday-Friday, 08:30-17:00 (with flexible start/finish times).
