Senior Network Operations Analyst

Overview
This role provides technical support for MasterCard’s operations environment, ensuring system stability, performance, and reliability. The position requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to analyse system performance, and the capability to test and verify network infrastructure against specifications. The Technical Analyst should also be comfortable with escalation processes and able to step in for a Senior Analyst when required.Key Responsibilities
Diagnose hardware and software issues while minimizing customer impact.Analyse information and determine appropriate outcomes to resolve problems effectively.Create and update internal tickets to document monitoring and recovery actions.Perform routine system maintenance as defined by policy and procedure.Implement changes within the network infrastructure according to standards.Maintain and report operational metrics as defined by management.Provide subject matter expertise in designated operational areas and contribute to cross-functional support.Oversee and manage their on-site team in their manager’s absenceEducation and Experience
Proven experience in technical operations, infrastructure support, or a similar role.Strong background in at least three of the following OCC expertise areas, with proficiency across all five: UNIX, Mainframe, Production Control, Debit, Network.Subject matter expertise in at least one OCC domain, with a holistic understanding of how all OCC components integrate.Technical Skills
Proficiency in UNIX scripting, monitoring tools, JCL, MVS, and batch scheduling.Familiarity with Oracle DB scriptingExperience with firewalls and secure file transfer highly desired.Core Competencies
