My client who are a established engineering business based in South Shields currently require a metal worker on a contract to permanent basis.

Duties

• Assemble metal components and structures according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Grind and finish metal surfaces to achieve the desired texture and appearance.
• Utilise hand tools and machinery effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal materials.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in metalworking or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and fabrication machinery.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
