Therapy AssistantFull Time Term Time (plus inset days) Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Therapy Assistant to join our specialist team supporting children and young people with additional needs within an educational setting.About the RoleAs a Therapy Assistant, you will work under the direction of qualified therapists to support the assessment and delivery of therapeutic interventions. You will work closely with pupils, staff and families to help embed strategies into daily practice.Key responsibilities include:Supporting therapy programmes as directed by therapistsWorking directly with pupils on individual and group activitiesAssisting in the preparation of therapy resources and equipmentRecording progress and maintaining accurate documentationSupporting staff to implement therapeutic strategies in the classroomPromoting pupil independence, communication and wellbeingThe role may involve supporting pupils with a range of needs, including communication difficulties, sensory needs and physical or learning disabilities.About YouWe are looking for someone who is:Passionate about supporting children and young peopleA strong team player with excellent communication skillsOrganised, proactive and able to use initiativePatient, adaptable and empatheticCommitted to maintaining confidentiality and professional boundariesEssential RequirementsAbility to follow therapy programmes and support interventionsGood written and verbal ..... full job details .....
