Our Board of Directors mostly started on the tools themselves so have a ‘hands-on’ understanding of the work we do. We work in social housing managing property disrepair for local authorities and housing associations. Gilmartins are looking to recruit a qualified Site Manager with experience of delivering legal disrepair projects in social housing; this experience is essential for the job.Responsibilities
Managing legal disrepair property refurbishments including carrying out site surveys, managing tasks / trades / materials, snagging, finishing off minor repairs, changing locksWorking across North West London and surrounding PostcodesThe ideal person will live central to this area and be willing to travel and work between sitesCarry out property works validationsRun and manage sitesAllocating and controlling work for Sub-Contractors and direct staffInspect completed jobsMaintain and promote quality and Health and Safety on siteQualifications / Required Skills
Previous experience in social housing managing void projects is essentialGood understanding of SOR codesDeadline driven with effective time management skillsExcellent organisation skillsHigh attention to detailPeople management skillsAbility to communicate at all levels with all stakeholdersAbility to multitask and prioritise workloadIT literateRequirements for Job
