We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading specialist contractor delivering high-quality Architectural Metalwork, Structural Steel, and Fabrication projects across the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware Project Manager with experience in Architectural Metalwork, Structural Steel, Steelwork, and Metal Fabrication to join a growing business with a strong reputation for delivering complex and prestigious projects. The successful Project Manager will take ownership of multiple Architectural Metalwork projects from design and procurement through to fabrication, installation, and final handover.

The Role
As a Project Manager, you will manage multiple Architectural Metalwork and Structural Steel projects simultaneously, acting as the key point of contact between clients, architects, contractors, fabrication teams, and installation crews. You will be responsible for the complete project lifecycle, ensuring all Architectural Metalwork, Steelwork, and Fabrication packages are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
The role requires strong knowledge of Architectural Metalwork, Structural Steel, Metal Fabrication, and site Installation processes. You will coordinate design information, manage project programmes, oversee procurement activities, monitor costs, and ensure fabrication and installation activities are delivered in line with project requirements.
The successful Project Manager will regularly attend site meetings, conduct site surveys, manage project variations, oversee subcontractors, and maintain excellent relationships with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Experience within Architectural Metalwork, Structural Steel, and specialist Fabrication environments is essential.
Requirements
Applicants should have proven experience as a Project Manager within Architectural Metalwork, Structural Steel, Metal Fabrication, or a related specialist construction sector. A strong understanding of fabrication processes, installation methodologies, project planning, commercial management, and construction delivery is required.
You should be confident reading architectural and engineering drawings, managing project budgets, coordinating stakeholders, and delivering multiple Architectural Metalwork projects simultaneously. Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills are essential.
A valid CSCS card is required, whilst SMSTS certification would be advantageous. A full UK driving licence is essential due to regular site visits.
