Our client is a well-established trade union based in Central London who are seeking a proactive and personable Administrator to join their Support Team. You will be the first point of contact for staff and visitors, helping ensure the smooth running of the building. This is a varied role and involves supporting day-to-day office operations, managing conference and meeting spaces, and providing front-of-house reception duties. Please note this is a fully office-based role, ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with a wide range of people in a dynamic environment.Rate: 17 per hour (plus holiday pay)Location: London, Office-Based 5 days a weekOrganisation: Charity/Membership BodyKey Responsibilities:Reception and Office Operations:Provide reception cover and maintain a welcoming, professional front-of-house to visitors and staffAct as the first point of contact for queries on building-related issues, including those from tenantsResolve/escalate basic IT issues to ensure hot-desk areas are functioningHandle general enquiries and answer incoming callsMaintain stock levels of refreshments in the reception areaManage all incoming and outgoing post and courier arrangementsProvide support to the Office Manager in maintaining a pleasant and efficient working environmentConference Suite Management:Set up flexible meeting spacesProvide basic AV and IT support for meetings and eventsEnsure refreshments and supplies are available and well-presented for meetingsCoordinate catering ..... full job details .....
