Head of Finance (12-month contract) role at Guardian Jobs, brought to you by Hays Senior Finance in exclusive partnership with Royal Star and Garter. The role reports to the Director of Finance and involves collaboration with three care homes (High Wycombe) and the newly merged fourth home (Worthing).Your New Role

Lead a dedicated finance team and foster a business partnering culture.Oversee accounting systems, ensure compliance and financial controls, and deliver timely management information, analysis, and reporting.Deputise for the Director of Finance and attend Board meetings as required.Mentor and develop the team; contribute to process improvements and integration of the fourth home into the Royal Star and Garter family.Manage financial control, budget management, income and expenditure oversight, and statutory compliance.Lead the team’s development and drive continuous improvement.What You’ll Need To Succeed

Ambitious and passionate finance leader with excellent communication skills and a hands-on approach.Charity sector experience is essential; you’ll mentor, train and develop the existing team.Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with experience in team management, business partnering, and financial control.Genuine desire to make a difference and contribute to a meaningful purpose.What You’ll Get In Return
