Essex & Suffolk Water are seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join their team on a 2-month fixed term contract. This role will support warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of stock and materials.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a counterbalance forklift to move, load, and unload items safely
• Picking stock accurately using paper pick sheets
• Transporting materials to designated locations within the warehouse or yard
• Carrying out daily forklift checks and reporting any faults
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Adhering to all health & safety procedures at all times

• Valid and in-date Counterbalance Forklift licence
• Proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse or similar environment
• Experience using paper-based picking systems
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices
