Premises Assistant/School Caretaker - ASAP start - Southwark School Premises AssistantASAP start 5 days a week1pm until 6.30pm Long term We are currently looking for a School Premises Assistant to join a lovely Primary school on a Long-term basis to support the current team with general maintenance and closing the school at the end of the day. The RoleIn this role you will be working 5 days a week on a long term basis.Individual jobs will vary in but in general you will be required to:Support with general maintenance and repairs in and around the school facilitiesPrepare areas within the the school for events (furniture set up etc)General upkeep and cleaningWeekly fire alarm tests to be recorded in a spreadsheetHealth and safety knowledge neededTo apply for this role you must be physically fit and have experience working in building maintenance. Previous experience in schools, colleges or educational settings is preferred by not essential for this role.
