Job Title: Indian Curry and Tandoor Chef_ COS Provided _ Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Indian Curry and Tandoor Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in preparing a variety of authentic Indian dishes, specialising in both curry preparations and tandoor cooking. You will play a key role in creating an exceptional dining experience by preparing high-quality, flavourful dishes in line with our restaurant''s standards. This role requires a deep understanding of Indian spices, herbs, and cooking techniques, as well as a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene._ Key Responsibilities: _ Curry Preparation: Prepare, cook, and present a range of traditional and contemporary Indian curries, sauces, and accompaniments. Develop and maintain recipes and ensure consistency in taste and presentation. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and ensure timely preparation of mise en place. Innovate and create new curry dishes while maintaining authenticity and quality. Tandoor Cooking: Skill-fully operate and maintain the tandoor oven, preparing various tandoori dishes, including breads (naan, roti), meats, seafood, and vegetarian options. Marinate meats and vegetables using traditional and modern techniques to enhance flavours. Ensure tandoor dishes are cooked to perfection with the appropriate char, flavour, and texture.
