Interim Finance Assistant - 3 Month ContractLocation: Camberley (4 days office, 1 day WFH)Pay: £16.00 - £17.50 per hour + Holiday PayContract: 3 MonthsWe are recruiting an experienced Finance Assistant to join a busy finance team on a 3-month interim contract while a permanent hire is secured.Key Responsibilities:Monthly sales invoice creation and distributionSupplier invoice processingReconciliation of accounts receivable/debtors and cash allocationChasing outstanding debts and resolving aged debt issuesProcessing and reconciling staff expensesInvestigating unallocated and misallocated paymentsProviding copy invoices, statements and supporting documentationLiaising with internal departments to resolve account queriesAssisting with balance sheet reconciliationsMatching payments to open invoicesProcessing supplier payments via bank transferEnsuring supplier payments are made in line with agreed payment termsHandling supplier invoice and payment queriesReviewing aged creditor reportsSupporting month-end deadlines and finance timetablesAd hoc reporting, analysis and year-end audit supportRequirements:1-3 years'' finance experiencePrevious AP/AR or Finance Assistant experienceStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood Excel skillsUnderstanding of VAT processesAAT desirable but not essentialPositive and proactive approach with strong problem-solving skillsAble to work effectively within a finance teamAble to get to Camberley 4 days per week.
