Onsite at the Fire Service college the Sports Centre provides sports and fitness services both to the college and the local community.

As the Leisure Centre and Events Assistant your role will be to assist the Sports Centre Manager in the smooth running of the Sports centre, as well as on occasion support the Centre and wider college with the running of events such as children’s parties, pool parties and larger scale events across the Fire Service College.

Job Description:What you’ll be doing:Carrying out lifeguarding duties as well delivery of swimming lessons if requiredGeneral running of the centre reception desk including dealing with customers queriesMembership administrationCleaning of the centreFirst aid supportSupporting with the delivery of events held in the sports centre such as pool parties, children’s parties including any planning required in advanceSupporting with large scale events on site.
