As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will take a leading role in the design, analysis, and delivery of complex structural projects. You will be responsible for managing teams, ensuring technical excellence, and fostering strong client relationships and your leadership and expertise will be crucial in driving project success and mentoring the next generation of engineers.

Responsibilities

Leading structural engineering design on multi-disciplinary projects from concept through to completionDelivering technical excellence in reinforced concrete, steel, timber, and masonry structuresCoordinating with architects, clients, and other disciplines to ensure high-quality project deliveryMentoring junior engineers and contributing to their professional developmentSupporting BIM integration and embracing modern digital design toolsEnsuring compliance with UK Building Regulations and relevant industry standards

RequirementsChartered or near-chartered status (CEng, MIStructE or MICE)Minimum of 5+ years'' UK consultancy experience in structural engineeringProven track record of leading projects or managing significant design packagesStrong technical background with excellent communication and report-writing skillsProficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., Tekla, Robot, TEDDS, Revit)Collaborative mindset and a commitment to sustainable, efficient design
