This role is all about showing children theyandrsquo;re not aloneandmdash;that no matter the challenge, someone believes in them.

Contract: Full time andndash; September 2025 start

Salary: andpound;80 - andpound;110 per day

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting pupils with emotional needs such as anxiety, low self-esteem, anger, or friendship difficulties
• Deliver targeted ELSA interventions (1:1 or small groups)
• Build trusting, consistent relationships with children across the school
• Work collaboratively with class teachers, the SENCO, and parents/carers
• Help children develop resilience, self-regulation, and confidence through structured activities

Qualifications andamp; Skills:

• Qualified or trained as an ELSA (or willing to complete training)
• Experience working with children, especially those with social, emotional or mental health needs
• Empathetic, patient, and positive andndash; someone who truly believes in making a difference
• Strong understanding of child development and emotional literacy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A team player who brings humour, humility and heart to every part of the day
