Job description: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing environment supporting production machinery, automation, and site equipment. This is a hands-on role working within a fast-paced production setting, responsible for ensuring equipment uptime, carrying out fault finding, and supporting both planned and reactive maintenance activities. Key Responsibilities: Electrical and mechanical fault finding on production equipment Reactive breakdown response to minimise downtime Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Repair and servicing of machinery, equipment, and site services Working with motors, sensors, relays, and control systems Basic PLC fault finding and diagnostics (inputs/outputs) Installation and commissioning of equipment when required Use of hand tools, machine tools, and measuring equipment Working in line with health and safety procedures at all times Required Experience: Previous experience in a maintenance engineering role Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding ability Experience working in manufacturing, production, or industrial environments Ability to read engineering drawings and technical manuals Experience with automated systems or machinery is highly desirable Basic understanding of PLC-controlled equipment advantageous Qualifications (Desirable): City and Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering 18th Edition (advantageous but not essential) Inspection ..... full job details .....
