Own the engineering capability for a defined product line, ensuring stability, performance, and continuous improvement.Lead a cross-functional squad through the full software development lifecycle – from design and development to testing and maintenance.Collaborate with Product Owners to shape roadmaps that balance innovation with product health.Drive DevOps practices, automation, and technical excellence across the team.Manage supplier relationships and ensure high-quality delivery from partners.Provide clear direction, coaching, and career development for your team.Ensure effective resource planning, budget management, and governance compliance.What do I need?
Extensive IT engineering expertise across a broad range of technologies, with hands-on experience in application customisation, integration, and technical solution design.Proven leadership of high-performing engineering teams in complex, fast-paced environments, with the ability to inspire, support, and hold teams accountable.Strong delivery background in Agile, Scrum, and/or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), with a track record of managing medium to large-scale development projects.Strategic and pragmatic mindset, capable of balancing long-term vision with short-term delivery, and comfortable operating at or near L6 level.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively and collaborate effectively across functions and with suppliers.A passion for innovation and continuous improvement, with a hands-on approach and a commitment to delivering impactful, high-quality solutions.Diversity and equal opportunity
