Our client are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support commercial operations on a major infrastructure project in Cardiff. This role involves managing contract administration, risk management, and cost control, ensuring profitability and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with subcontractors and advise on contractual issues.
• Support project leaders with cost reporting and risk management.
• Prepare financial statements, variations, and monthly progress reports.
• Ensure commercial compliance with NEC contracts (NEC3/NEC4 Option C).
• Contribute to procurement, subcontract management, and final account settlements.
• Lead on cost planning and measurement of quantities.
• Maintain strong documentation and adherence to company procedures.

Requirements:

• BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• 4+ years of post-graduate experience (or 8+ years in a similar role).
• NEC contract experience essential.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Desirable:

• Experience in civils/building projects, knowledge of ISO standards
