Graduate Planner
Location: Kent

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-respected housebuilder in their search for a Graduate Planner to join their in-house planning team based in Kent.

Our client, a dynamic and growing residential developer, is committed to delivering high-quality homes across the South East. Known for their design-led approach and strong regional presence, they are looking to invest in the next generation of planning professionals who can grow with the business and make a real impact.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Planner to work client-side within a supportive and fast-paced environment. You will gain hands-on experience in planning strategy, site promotion, planning applications, and stakeholder engagement - all with the guidance of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation and submission of planning applications

• Undertake planning research and site appraisals

• Support the team in preparing planning strategies and development proposals

• Liaise with local authorities and external consultants

• Contribute to the promotion of strategic land sites through the Local Plan process

Requirements:

• RTPI-accredited degree or master''s in Planning or a related field

• Strong understanding of the UK planning system

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn

• A full UK driving licence is desirable
