OverviewA leading global investment bank is seeking a Business Intelligence and Executive Reporting Analyst to join its Banking Production Services Reporting team within Global Markets Technology. You will play a key role in transforming operational stability data (incidents, problems, changes, known errors) into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership. This is a highly visible role, providing executive-level reporting and data-driven narratives that drive transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement across banking application production services. It’s an ideal position for someone who can blend analytical rigour with storytelling to influence decisions at the highest level. Location: London, United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

Collect, analyse, and interpret service management metrics (incidents, problems, changes, known errors).

Identify trends and patterns to highlight performance improvements and risk areas.

Build and maintain executive reporting decks in PowerPoint that clearly communicate operational trends.

Partner with technology, operations, and business teams to ensure reporting is accurate, relevant, and aligned with executive needs.

Develop dashboards and visualisations in Tableau, Excel, or similar BI tools.

Support ad-hoc reporting requests with speed, precision, and insight.

Create data-driven narratives that explain the “so what” behind the numbers, including root cause analysis and recommendations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

5+ years in business intelligence, reporting, or analytics (preferably in IT service management, operations, or financial services).

Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, plus experience with Tableau or similar BI tools.

Proven ability to produce executive-ready reports and presentations.

Strong communication and storytelling skills to simplify complex data for senior stakeholders.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with ITIL processes (incidents, problems, known error).

Experience in banking, financial services, or production support environments.

Ability to influence and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
