The Role
As Assistant Site Manager, you will support the Site Manager in the day-to-day running of construction sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the management of site operations, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site labour
• Monitor progress against programme and report on key milestones
• Maintain quality control procedures and carry out regular site inspections
• Support with site documentation, reporting, and record keeping
• Help resolve any on-site issues efficiently and professionally
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organised site environment

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role within a main contractor environment
• Strong understanding of construction processes and site management principles
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work well within a team and under pressure
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. HNC/HND/Degree in Construction or similar - desirable)
• Valid CSCS card
• SMSTS/SSSTS (or working towards)
• First Aid certification (preferred)
