The role involves delivering personalised, structured learning sessions within the student''s home environment, ensuring they receive the tailored support required to make progress both academically and emotionally.Key Responsibilities:Deliver bespoke 1:1 tuition adapted to the student''s complex SEN profileCreate a calm, supportive, and consistent learning environmentPlan and deliver engaging sessions based on ability rather than age-related expectationsImplement strategies that support communication, emotional regulation, and engagementWork collaboratively with Academics, parents/carers, and external professionalsProvide regular updates and progress reportsRequirements:QTS, relevant teaching qualification, or substantial SEN tutoring/teaching experienceProven experience supporting students with complex or high-level needs (e.g. ASC, SEMH, global developmental delay, communication difficulties)Patience, resilience, and a nurturing approachStrong behaviour management and de-escalation skillsEnhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)Ability to travel to the student''s home for tuition ..... full job details .....
