Interim Estates Surveyor (Landlord and Tenant / Valuation) Location: Hertfordshire (Hybrid Working) Contract: 6 months Rate: £400 per day (inside IR35) A Hertfordshire-based local authority is seeking an experienced RICS-qualified Estates Surveyor to join their Property and Estates team on an interim basis. Key Responsibilities: Undertake landlord and tenant work, including lease renewals, rent reviews, and new lettings for both commercial and residential properties. Provide valuation advice for a range of purposes including asset management, acquisitions, disposals, and statutory reporting. Support the council''s estate management and asset strategy, ensuring best value is achieved from the property portfolio. Liaise with internal departments, tenants, and external stakeholders to deliver effective property solutions. Requirements: MRICS or FRICS qualification (essential). Proven experience in local authority or public sector property work preferred. Strong background in valuation and estate management across both housing and commercial sectors.
