I''m working with a well-established financial services business in Leicester that is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join their finance team.
 
This Management Accountant is a key role with responsibility for producing accurate and timely management accounts, supporting strategic decision-making, and mentoring a junior team member.
 
Management Accountant Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and variance analysis
• Budgeting and forecasting, working closely with department heads
• Monthly reporting on KPIs, cash flow, and business performance
• Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with internal controls
• Identifying and driving process improvements
• Mentoring and supporting a Junior Management Accountant
• Assisting with strategic finance projects and business planning

• CIMA qualified, part-qualified or QBE with solid management accounting experience
• Background in financial services is advantageous
• Confident producing and presenting management information to non-finance stakeholders
• Strong Excel skills and good working knowledge of accounting systems
• Detail-oriented, commercially aware, and proactive
• Experience managing or mentoring junior staff is highly desirable

• Salary up to £45,000 (depending on experience)
